Ribbon Ridge
2024 Pinot Noir
“This wine always reminds me of the vineyard site itself and expresses
terroir so well. Red rose petal, forest floor like the surrounding area
of the vineyard, blue fruit, spice, leather, and hints of anise. Medium
bodied on entry, the wine builds to a strong finish with lively acidity,
and a large, complex finish. The wine has a long life ahead of it but is
drinking great now. Always one of my personal favorites in the cellar.”

Pouring a magenta/ruby hue, the 2024 Pinot Noir Ribbon Ridge is more
reserved today, gradually revealing black cherries, tea leaf, mint,
dark cocoa, preserved orange, and iron-tinged mineral notes. Medium to
full-bodied, it expands across the palate with ripe tannins, excellent
energy, and refined structure wrapped in an elegant frame. It simply
needs a little more time to unfurl. Drink 2027–2040.
