2024 Release Perspective
Appellation/Vineyard

Eola-Amity Hills
2024 Pinot Noir
“At the time of writing these notes, this may be my favorite wine from the vintage. Aromatics of blueberries picked right off the bush, Washington cherries, a hint of orange rind, and rose petals. The mouthfeel is so good with a beautiful tannin structure that is broad, lush, and has the perfect glycerol sweetness. Highlighting the tannins of the Eola- Amity Hills and Coulee Vineyard. I have had this wine multiple times over the last few months and it has lived rent free in my head. Decant now and enjoy through 2046.”

"The 2024 Bledsoe | McDaniels ‘Eola-Amity Hills’ Pinot Noir shows gorgeous red florals on the nose with river rock and sandalwood tones. Roughly 20% whole cluster fermented this comes off ultra-refined and seamless throughout the drinking experience. A generous melange of red and dark fruits combine with tobacco leaf and stony undertones. Drink 2026-2040."

"A shade deeper in color, the 2024 Pinot Noir Eola-Amity Hills slowly reveals layers of ripe cherries, baking spice, cedar, cardamom, and violets as it opens in the glass. Medium-bodied, it expands gracefully across the palate with ripe tannins, excellent definition, balanced texture, and impressive length. It should continue to improve over the next several years. Drink 2026-2038."

COULEE ESTATE
2024 Pinot Noir
“Coulee Vineyard is a beautiful place and this wine highlights that beauty. Leading with blue fruit, Rainier cherries, cedar notes and perfect French oak complements. The wine is rounder than the Eola-Amity Hills Pinot Noir, with a beautiful mid-palate, and pillowy tannin structure. Grown mostly on the hillsides of Coulee in volcanic soil, with a small addition of extended maceration sedimentary soil. Pommard and Wadensvil clones. Drink now through 2038.”

"Medium ruby in color, the 2024 Pinot Noir Coulee Estate unfolds with menthol, preserved strawberries, cherries, polished leather, cedar, and layered spice. Medium-bodied, it has savory undertones of fresh earth, ripe tannins, chalky texture, and a haunting, weightless personality, with darker fruit and earthy notes lingering beneath the surface."
