2020 LeFore Syrah

Coming from the “Rocks District” in the Walla Walla Valley, the vines on our estate site were originally planted in the late 1990’s. Aromatically entrancing with layer after layer of change. Orange peel, pencil shavings, fresh violets, soy sauce, and plum. Absolutely beautiful, silky tannins- one of my favorite qualities of this vineyard site that Syrah highlights so well. Perfect acid to frame the wine and lend hand to a lengthy finish of salinity, stems, and hints of red fruit and wild game. Enjoy this wine now through the next decade.
