2021 Coulee Estate Pinot Noir

Josh's Notes

Our first ever single vineyard wine, and more importantly from our own estate site, Coulee. This vineyard is incredibly diverse, has a rich history of regenerative farming, and in a lot of ways reminded me of the foundational elements of our McQueen site in Walla Walla - wind and fractured basalt. Fresh rose petals, iron, graphite, cherry, and hints of eucalyptus and the tiniest amount of dill shine through aromatically as the wine unfolds and changes. The wine starts off soft and rich as it builds to a large, round mouthfeel and lasting finish. Beautiful purity of fruit framed with a fantastic acidity. Decant to drink now through 2038.
