2022 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

Josh's Notes

An impressive vintage 2022 is turning out to be and I didn’t think we could get better than 2021! Immediately entrancing aromatically, blue fruit, licorice, wet slate rock, and fresh rose petals. The wine continues to evolve constantly - very intellectual. I am loving the large palate of richness, depth, and round tannins with a glycerol finish. This new vintage has a fantastic way of being tannic while not having any rough edges to the tannin - a blend of boldness and pleasure. The wine comes almost entirely from the Eola-Amity Hills and is really showing it off - complemented only by the Ridgecrest Vineyard on Ribbon Ridge. Enjoy now through 2039.
